In last blog we have discussed about to find square root of perfect square number using vedic mathematics trick [ to see click here ]. In this blog we will show how to find a square root of non perfect square number easily.

To find a square root of non perfect square number we have to know one formula and that is,

We have to crack the given number in two numbers. Here suppose we have the number is Z. So we will crack the number Z in two numbers X & Y. We note the formula. We will need square root of X. So we have to choose X such that X will be perfect square number.

Note : Remember one thing well that we have to take x which is perfect square number nearer to Z.

Let’s understand it with example.

Example 1 : Find square root of 10

Solution - 

                 Here we want to find square root of 10 which is non-perfect square number. First we will crack the number 10 into two numbers. There are many ways to write the number 10 using two numbers, but we know that we have to one of this two numbers which will be perfect square number. Also such number must be nearer to 10. So that we will crack 10 into 9 and 1.

Example 2 : Find out √19

Solution -

Example 3 : Find out √142

Solution -
